As the new school year starts, we are excited to make some fun changes to school events. During Centennial’s open house, we had a survey to ask for your thoughts on a new fundraiser. If you didn’t get a chance to make a vote, you can see the options and details below. More important than raising money for the school is bringing our community together, and having a fun time with all our shining All-Stars. We are also proposing a new school logo contest so that students can feel excited and proud about showing school spirit!

Here are the details for the possible fundraisers:

Dance-a-Thon: Families attending make a donation to enter, and dance the night away! For 2-3 hours, we will play fun party music from different cultures that everyone can enjoy and experience, learn some new dance moves, and just party!

Crafts Sale: Students (or their grown ups) will donate items they’ve handmade (key charms, trinkets, knit hats, etc) to sell after school. There will be a ticket system for payments so students will not be required to have cash at school.

Drive-Up Bake Sale: Families would be able to purchase donated baked goods during student pick-up time from the convenience of their car. A table will be set up near school grounds for people to walk up and purchase items as well.
